Tim Durst – West side Operations
Tim Durst started working at Durst Trucking Company when he was just 14 years old. He began in the warehouse, and within a few years, he obtained his CDL Class A license. It didn’t take long for him to realize that this was the career he wanted to pursue for the rest of his life. Before fully committing to the company, he attended Penn State Behrend, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Economics.
When Tim is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, a schoolteacher, and their three children. He often spends time outdoors, participating in activities such as ATV riding, boating, hunting, and playing sports with his kids. His greatest joy comes from coaching his children’s various sports teams. Tim is also very active in his church and serves on the board of Dufford Terrace, a senior living apartment complex.
Looking ahead, Tim’s main focus is to continue the 90-year tradition of treating every customer honestly and fairly while doing whatever it takes to meet their needs. Over the years, he has been fortunate to work alongside his father, uncle, grandfather, brother, and cousins, and he hopes to one day work with his children, and perhaps even grandchildren, if they choose the same rewarding path he did.
